In Manitoba, cannabis returns are generally final, with only very limited exceptions:
1. Provincial Law (MBLL / LGCA – Cannabis Regulation M.R. 128/2021)
No Return of Cannabis
31 A licensee must not accept a return of cannabis, except in the case of cannabis that is the subject of a recall.
2. Exceptions: Defective or Recalled Products
- If Health Canada issues a recall, stores must accept returns of recall-related cannabis.
- Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries gives retailers about 30 days to return defective products to their suppliers.
3. Supercraft™ Store-Level Policy
- Supercraft™ retailer stores offer limited refunds or exchanges for defective or faulty products—even after opening—though this is not legally required.
- Each situation is treated on a case by case basis: Some packaging may be sealed/unopened, others may be opened and “defective” items like vape cart leaks, or other product issues.
- All accessories are subject to a 30-day return policy only if unused. If used and you have issues we are happy to put you in touch with the supplier directly.
- All Nicotine vapes are subject to a 30-day return policy if unopened. If opened and “defective” we will be happy to offer an exchange or refund.
- All Apparel & Art is final sale.
